Today's game saw ODS team taking on some of our own teammates on the opposite end.
Gary Ong who turned up on time when playing for opponent. Liang Han the Octopus. Rosk our experienced center back. Kiren our sweeper and Mr Sng our cultured striker.
Shawn Guest player from Victoria School helped out by playing our right back as we did not have enough players for today. Had a reasonable game although the "youthness" was exposed a couple of times.
Irwin was repeatedly tested by Gary and he overlapping Rosk...
Stand in center back Hairy and Cheen Mun had a relatively easier half as both Mark"s" were working hard to help out with both the defence and contributing for our attack.
Osman as usual, spend bulk of his time in the final third of the attacking position. While lacking in his defensive duties, he made more than it up by his dangerous runs, his knack for goals and his vision for picking teammates in good positions
Shufi was constantly a threat to our opponent...
Elango got his mark by scoring in this game while our usual-keeper playing as striker Kee Yong was constantly harassing the opponent but had limited chance in front of goal before eventually substituting himself out (due to ankle pain? or was it exhaustion?)
MOE Veteran scored first with a well taken half volley from Gary Ong, after turning away from his marker Irwin.
Can't really remember the order or half-time scoreline.
If I recall correctly , by half time ODS got a comfortable lead, through Osman and Shufi and Elango. [3-1]

2nd half, minor changes were made with We Keat replacing Mark Penu in the center of the park, while Mark went back to his more familiar center back. Cheen Mun moved to his more preferred side defending role.
Osman got his second and our fourth.
Raymond seems to have improved since his disappearance 7 years ago.. Has now turned somewhere into a minor threat with his scoring boots as of lately. Nearly scored but his shot hit the side post.. provided a few good balls although at times still lacking better decision making ...
MOE veterans then got their 2nd goal when gary's cross across ODS's goal mouth met Hairy's attempted clearance with his feeble right feet saw him scoring nicely for an own goal. A nice header by We Keat at the near post from Elango's resulting corner sealed the game for a win.
