still have some legs left in us!

Full Time: ODS 5 - 2 RJC Team(Half time: 3 - 0)
Scorers: Osman (x03), Cheen Ming (x02)
Man Of Match: Hairy

--
Starting Line-Up GK: Kee Yong
Def[L-R]: Guest Player, Hairy, Mark Penu, Tony
Mid[L-R]: Osman, We Keat , Cheen Ming, Irwin
Striker: Liang Han, Leonard

RJC really pressed us alot in the first 15 minutes, however 2 quick goals from ODS made them to play with more cautious.

Osman meet Leonard good corner and score with a neat header. [1-0]
Although Cheen Ming seem to play with "lesser" energy, however he score with a power shot on the right after some good link up play. Osman passed the ball to Liang Han who neatly send the ball across to set Cheen Ming free..for our 3rd goal. [2-0]

The referee awarded us a penalty when a boy appeared to have a handball. Although it look more like he chested.. Osman scored from the penalty spot, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way. [3-0]

Today Liang Han also showed the boys what is a giant octopus and baby squids ahah

2nd Half Line-Up GK: Kee Yong
Def[L-R]: Irwin, Hairy, Mark Penu, Tony
Mid[L-R]: Osman, We Keat, Aidil, Cheen Ming
Striker: Elango, Leonard

We started the 2nd half with 2 "pai ka"s. One belong to We Keat and one to Aidil.
Tony was also having a good game showing his experience. The boys never really troubled him too much with Mark Penu covering him well.

Osman scored our fourth goal.

A through ball from We Keat down the left, brilliantly "let go" (Osman insists it called dummy) by Leonard who was in an offside position - found Osman who dribbled his way past few players before sending the ball across the goal line when the keeper appears to mishandle the shot. The keeper later caught it and the referee waved play on for what appeared a legitimate goal.

The RJC boys were cheering themselves by shouting, "they (us) are fat, we are fit!". That seemed to boost themselves up when a low shot was drilled past Kee Yong from just outside our penalty box. [4-1]

That raised their game and before long, their referee awarded them a penalty too when their player went down at the slightest touch from Mark Penu.. They then went on to score from the spot. [4-2]

Think Cheen Ming was not too pleased with RJC's slogan and showed the boys on numerous occasions that he still can burn them with minimal effort. Soon he killed the game off by putting in our 5th goal[5-2] when he leeched on to a loose ball before scoring it neatly.

By the way, our keeper commented that he was sabo a few times today after the game. Next time let's try not to call "keeper" on his behalf whahha

Another good game

REPORTED BY ??
Full Time: ODS 3 - 0 Dessert Story (Half time: 2 - 0)
Scorers: Osman(x2), Kiran [Osman-missed penalty]
Man Of Match: Rosk

--

Osman won the penalty which he took himself.
Keeper made a good save but Osman was quick to the rebound and scored from the rebound.

Osman got his second goal after a string of beautiful passes, and Osman lifted the ball over the out-rushing keeper.

Kiran rounded up the game with his first goal of the season.

Tough call for Man of the Match as ODS has been playing some fantastic football of late.
Eventually, Rosk won the man of the match with his solid display in defence.

First draw of the season

REPORTED BY ??
Full Time: ODS 1 - 1 ABYU (Half time: 1 - 1)
Scorers: Leonard (pen)
Man Of Match: Chee Mun

--

A fierce contest in the first half, with many hard, but not rash or reckless, tackles.
Osman played to the opponents' game and won a penalty which Leonard duly converted.

A lapse of communication at the back allowed the opponents to break down the usually solid defense. A goal resulted and the game was levelled again.

Second half, ODS put up a solid show with Kee Yong making many good saves.
But the man of the match went to Chee Mun, who once again showed his good reading of the game, and many fantastic tackles that left the opponents scratching their head thinking how to get past him.

1-1 it ended, though not exactly a fair result as ODS wasted many chances to convert in front of goal.

6-stars ODS

REPORTED BY Ken Wong
Full Time: ODS 6 - 0 Malaysia Sports School Staff Team
1st 3rd: 0 - 0
2nd 3rd: 2 - 0
Final 3rd: 6 - 0
Scorers: Osman, Suria, Cheen Ming, Liang Han, Gary (x2)
Man Of Match: Suria

First third, ODS was extremely wasteful in front of goal. Kee Yong barely had any saves to make.

Second third, ODS sent in superstar Suria who threaded passes to open up the opponent defence. However, it took a while before the first goal came, courtesy of Osman.
Suria made it two nil with a stunning freekick over the wall.

Final third, Cheen Ming added the third goal with a brillant solo effort, beating the entire defence on his own before rounding the keeper and tapping the ball into an empty net.

Gary got the fourth goal, tapping in a rebound.

Liang Han is, slowly but surely, getting his feet back in the game.
Yet another goal from him this week.

Ken Wong should have opened his account, after some dazzling display of dribbling skills, and after a sweet one-two with Kee Yong, he has only the keeper to beat, but his lack of composure saw his shot going into the side netting.

Ken Wong was caught into action again soon after, somehow the "Love Ken campaign" found new energy in him. Feeding on a through ball, he raced 40metres towards goal. Once again with only the keeper and the goal at his mercy, he unselfishly squared the ball across the goal to Gary for a simple tap-in for this second of the day.

A picture says a thousand words, so let the photos do the talking.
