Today, me the LB who had been late twice previously (technically once is not my fault!! really is Mr O's fault!!) was early! In fact, i was the 1st player to reach at 1636hrs and have ample time to shit, read my comic book before proceeding to team area (outside PE room). The other player to reach early was Ros. Subsequently the rest of the teammates also reached, but the point is i was the 1st one ok? No more late!!

Anyway, to my alarm, there was a yellow team already on the field, warming up, discussing tactics and practising their shooting on the field. This is the 1st time if my memory do not fail me that I actually recall a team that's so early and organised.

I thought for a moment (less than a split split second) - this game may well be 2nd lose.

First half started off well not that bad, we did have some "more" passing today instead of rushing our game. I (LB) prefer to play this way - moreso that i had missed the previous 2 games due to wisdom tooth extraction.

We got the 1st goal through Liang Han who then conveniently substituted himself out! Wait - I recalled being told off by our Captain Mr Sng: Substituting out have to be done by him!! Anyway maybe because captain wasn't around for this game(due to his school's assignment to London), that's why.

Somehow before half-time finished, NY CSC managed to get a goal back from a long shot which even the MOM-GK Kee Yong(for memory sake: he was also year 2006 best defender!) couldn't save. The goal in my opinion is well taken via cheap cheap defending by our side. Ok, i know i am part of the defence.. but hey, midfield suppose to fall back and help cover la..

The 2nd half started with me and Mat fighting for the last position!! Mind you not to play but to be sitting, relaxing at the bench area - winner of course me la!) Barely 20 minutes into the 2nd half, Mr O(stand-in manager) ask me to go in to replace Elango(cannot anyhow shout his name in game one because referee always thought we are shouting "LET GO LET GO", no offence to the man himself but i find this rather amusing). I go in suppose to have 1 change right? No, Kim Chuan was move up to be the 2nd speeding striker, forget to mention Liang Han had come in to terrorise the opponent's defence with his physical presence(dont see him small small size ok...) Mat was moved up to left mid and me back to my stuck-forever position left back.

The 2nd goal came via a well-taken freekick by Wakil (i think - not so sure of his name, a guest player that's why). As Mat was not very good with his left leg (making this sound a bit better only , actually he cannot use his left leg at all, just like me unable to use the right leg!), he moved to the right flank and Justin came over). Somehow somewhat, we got the 3rd goal - via a cross from right flank to Justin.

Not long after this, i recalled Liang Han coming over and asking me to switch to central midfield and he played my position.(NB: After match, Mr O told me he totally lost the formation when he saw me at central midfield) All i could say is, we actually did well with containing them at this point of time.

First attempt at more detailed field report? Definitely yes! but pardon my english ok?!
