what we get for poor performance
Full Time: ODS 5 - 10 Free Wheelers(Half time: 3 - 6) Scorers: Melvin-GP (x02), Sng(x01), Mark Teo(x01), ???(x01) Man Of Match: -

Mark headed his 2nd goal after Sng hit a soft volley towards the left side of the goal.
Guys, the scoreline certainly looks humiliating and we thoroughly deserved a thrashing. There is no excuse of playing badly or poor performance. My thought is simple, we are just poor in our basics and that includes me.
I agree. I think the opponents were a class above us. If only, we could have scored a couple of goals in the first half, then the scoreline maybe different.
First goal, their striker took on at least three of our defenders and slotted past me one on one. Second goal, despite me saving the initial shot, our defender took a little too long to clear the ball and the opponent gladly robbed him and slammed into the unguarded goal. Third goal, our defender was just a tad too slow to clear the ball and the opponent took the opportunity to score. Fourth goal, I was beaten on a lob. Fifth goal, despite LH's tackle, the opponent still hit a scorcher to the top right hand corner. Sixth goal, a simple cross to the far post and the striker just headed into the goal as he was left unmarked.
To be honest, we need opponents like this to improve ourselves and grow as a long-term social team.no doubt they are a class better, but we've learn a lot from this defeat than we'll ever from all the wins this year.
Mr Sng, as what you've said that they are indeed a classy,clean team, i'd suggest we play them 3 times yearly instead of marine sunday.no offence intended but just a humble opinion.cheers.
bet he been slamming us the few team mates humulitating us with his SMSes.. i have kept them and will show them to ODS management.. what he has been calling "us"
please dont let your frustration get in the way of my constructive criticism and more importantly my humble yet noble opinion.so far my only sms'es to hairy and irwin is about boots that they are keen to buy so i'm not sure what's this 'humulitating'(see above hairy's spelling;mixture of humiliate n mutilate i tink, hopefully not lactating) is all about.
anyway guys, i'm still out for another week.pls soldier on without me and bounce back to silence the critics....
