Today's loss is another good lesson whereby our good chances are not converted... ODS conceded the first goal when there was some mis-communication in the defence. [0-1]
Both sides were enjoying each of their good spells. SRC making good use of the flanks and was troubling ODS defence with such play, although the final ball was not quite well-delivered.
Irwin was set free on the right and his cross from the edge of the box was handball by the defender and the referee pointed straight to the spot. Irwin himself took the penalty, sending the gk to the left but placing the ball into the center of the net [1-1]
Another attack from the left, saw Cheen Ming cutting back a low cross across the goal mouth. Finding Mark Teo who was free at the edge of the six yard box, but somehow with the goal almost empty, his side foot instead kept rising and to the right ..

The match appeared to tide towards ODS's side when we have a lot of possessions. A chip over SRC's defence found Mark Teo who continued his run from midfield and hesitated because he was offside. The whistle though was not blown and he continued his run and finding himself only needing to beat the GK. His attempted chip appeared to be goal bound but the keeper somehow managed to have the slightest touch to deflect the ball narrowly pass the left post.
A clearance from a SRC's corner, found Sng free at the center of the field. Pushing the ball to the right but moving left, Sng beat the keeper but not the last man who came back in time to clear the ball to safety.
Soon a rare mistake by Fred gifted SRC the winning goal. Although ODS continued to try find the equalizer, it never came.
