On a day where the opponents came late, some of the players were expecting a huge victory for ODS, especially so when the opponents look really sloppy and ill-prepared against the mighty ODS.

Vincent was commenting the first goal would come in less than five minutes. However, we were provened wrong. The opponents did well to control the game early on, limiting ODS shot on goal to just one after twenty minutes.
Woodbridge too, were having problem trying to break down the solid defence of Kiran and Rosk.

ODS finally broke the deadlock and took the lead through Liang Han's low drilled shot that slipped under the keeper's body.

1-0

ODS captitalised on that lead and began to push up the attack. Irwin got his name on the scoresheet after he stole the ball in the opponent's penalty and the shot that came after that was brilliant, going in off the crossbar at that top left corner.

2-0

2nd Half Line-Up
GK: Kee Yong
Def[L-R]: Hans, Kiran, Rosk, Ken Wong
Mid[L-R]: Cheen Meng, Mark Penu, Vincent, Martin (GP)
Striker: Liang Han, Kim Chuan

ODS restarted the game.

Second half saw a bit more action from Kee Yong as he was called upon to save a few long shots.

Mark Penu took himself out and brought in Irwin.
Liang Han made the tactical switch, moving Cheen Meng to the right, Kim Chuan to left midfield and Martin up as striker.

ODS got the third goal when Irwin played the through ball for "turbo" aka Cheen Meng to race onto. He made the finishing look easy as he placed the shot at the far post.

3-0

Woodbridge were trying hard to get back into the game. But their efforts gone to waste when a somewhat harmless cross came in from the right, and the defender deflected it into his own net.

4-0

Woodbridge managed a consolation for themselves when the striker break free from the half way line. Both Rosk and Hans went in with the sliding tackle, one on the left and one on the right, both at the same time. But the striker managed to squeeze his way through the middle, and he beat Kiran with a "faint". Kee Yong was then beaten with a low shot to the far post.

4-1

Somewhat encouraged by this goal, Woodbridge then had a series of shots on goal, testing Kee Yong with lots of fierce shots. Kee Yong on one instance, had to make a reflex save when the ball deflected off Kiran and he was heading in the opposite direction. He managed to dive and put his big palm to it, stopping the ball on the goal line.

Liang Han earned a yellow card as he was unable to stop on time and crashed head on into the goalkeeper when chasing a loose ball. As taught in physics, the law of inertia states that, the bigger the mass of an object, the harder it is to start or stop moving.

Cheen "turbo" Meng completed the riot with another of his turbo-charged run and adding another goal to his tally.

5-1

Martin nearly added a sixth when he lifted the ball over the keeper, but the ball went narrowly wide of the far post.
