Friendlies ???

Our last game (friendly) was played today. After last week Awards' night, it appears that a lot of teammates think that our season is over.

Our first 15mins was very messy and we did not have much possession of the ball.
We finally went behind when we failed to deal with a corner. The big size opponent was granted a free header (almost). [0-1]

Mark Teo then came in to marshall our central midfield.

This occasion though, ODS did not hurried our game and instead had patience and calmness. Osman was then hacked down in the box, earning us a penalty. All of us beckoned Tony to take it. At this point of time, he was hiding behind the opponent's scorer. After some urging, he finally went to the spot. Placing it to the left bottom corner and went it off the post. Well-taken! His first for 2008 although friendlies :P [1-1]

We saw the opponent scoring through a header from a resulting corner but it was disallowed as someone has pushed Rosk.

Scoreline remain unchanged till half time.

ODS started the 2nd half from where they left off but better! Again, Sng showed us what is goal-to-playing time ratio means. When a clearance by their keeper was not well executed, Sng immediately first time a grounder ball right into goal from outside the penalty box when the ball fell to him. [2-1]

The second half with introduction of Kiran into the defence alongside Rosk, it was almost rock solid. Dennis didn't have much to do, while he had to do. He dived almost too fast for a slow shot which nearly bounced over him but this time round, somehow his hands managed to hold on to the bouncing ball.

Hairy played a short pass to Osman who nicely dummy it by letting it go through looking for Kim Chuan. But it was fruitless.

Mark Teo had a couple of shots at goal but mostly were not on target. Rosk too had a shot that was curling dangerously into the top right corner, but saw it misses by some inches/

In the closing minute, Hairy made another pass to Osman and continued his run up. Osman played the ball to him. Seeing Elango coming in from the left side, Hairy allow it to run and let Elango followed up. He finally released the ball but it only managed to find the crossbar but Kee Yong was there to claim our 3rd goal from his follow-up header.
