Today's 1st half is almost one of the worst half we ever played for this season. The defence was frequently in trouble, the strikers not dynamic moving enough, the midfielders not dropping enough to help out with defence nor the central midfielders stamped their "authority" by winning balls. Mark Teo which had just recovered from knee injury had too much to cover for the inefficient Yang Song.

Our side were often losing ball too easily, making too hurried passes and not making enough passes...

In the 1st half, i would say there were not much clear chances from both ends. At halftime, the scoreline is the same as when the game was kick off.

Before 2nd half was started, as we were walking into the field, this conversation was going on between Osman and Gary.

Gary: Osman, you know what.. Liang Han asked me not to assist u today so that you cannot score.
Osman: WHY??
Gary: Cos you catching up ... but Liang Han said that if i score, then he's ok cos the top 2 scorers is either me or him...
Osman: what is this? Last week i unselfishly release a through ball to Liang Han for him to score.

... some part of the conversation not so significant.
Ironically, Osman did score the 2nd important goal in the final 5 minutes and Gary was the one who passed him the ball wahahahhaaaaaa

For 2nd half, some changes were introduced. Guess it was for the better, cos we began to pass with more purpose, attack with more intent. 1st 2nd-half best chance fell to Gary Ong who tried to score but failing to find the net by looping the ball not only over the keeper but also the crossbar.

The deadlock was finally broken when a good pass from Gary Ong fell to Irwin. For a moment, i thought the pass would be intercepted (from my angle). Irwin found the net from a tight near post angle.

The opponents though had no intention to give up just as yet. A couple of timely tackles, blocks from Roskaider & Mark Penu and foresight from Kee Yong who had to come off his line to clear a few loose balls helped pretty much to keep our lead for the game.

At this time, the sky was getting dark as it threatened to rain... Finally the pass from Gary Ong in the dying minutes to Osman who 1st broke free from his defender and then next putting the ball into the net sealed the game for us.
