The game started with the referee supplied from the opponent's team coming late after our team's official registered referee Ken Wong change up into referee role. Ken was expected to earn the money for referring this game to have a hot date with his girlfriend, in the end all he did was to blow the first half opening whistle.

Our team opened the game with more purposeful passing and running for the 1st 20 minutes. Although there was chances, none were converted. A few heart-stopping moments for us when Wakil let a few passes astray. Vincent, Mark and Tony (who had a tough time marking the speedy opponent) did well to cover most danger.
A loose ball outside our penalty box went to the opponent player and seeing Kee Yong who was slightly off his line, tried a low shot to the right bottom not-so-corner. Kee Yong saw it too late and the ball just barely went under his body. The 1st goal to our opponent. This year we seem to love going behind during games.
We up our gear a bit, a ball from our left back - hairy(tat's myself) to Osman who releases Kim Chuan down the left flank free. Hairy continued his run and Kim Chuan release the ball within the penalty box to Hairy only for his first time shot not met cleanly and the ball went across outside of the right post.
Later, a through ball to Kim Chuan (after a weak goal kick by opponent keeper gave us a chance for a quick counter) saw him through with only the keeper to beat but the lop was not high enough.
First half saw our team trying to get back into the game, but all was well except the ball was never in the opponent's net. This game our midfield were not coming back enough to help out and we lost a lot of the loose center midfield balls to the opponents with their no7 playmaker with his ball to the speedy 10 giving us more some problems. Anis who was playing on the right midfield seem tired and not coming back enough to help Tony out. Seeing Tony was quite tired, hairy switch position with Tony as the main threat was coming from the right. According to sideline teammates - Aidil who later commented that "Hairy switched side to look for trouble" when Hairy subsequently got into some argument with speedy but a mouthful no10.
Second half started with us having match the same purpose to get level up. We had Liang Han hitting the goal post, shooting at the opponent's keeper instead of net.
Finally through a corner, Vincent who came all up from defence for the corner kick, headed in the equaliser!
Subsequently our captain Mr Sng went it in hope to show the rest of the strikers how to score and if he had done that - the sideline panel consisting of Osman, Elango and Hairy would be nominating him for the man-of-match award. Even though Mr Sng did not manage to score, his influence in the game was immense. Having seen lots of good one-touch and passing football and we were starting to become more dangerous.
Gary has a really good chance with only the keeper to beat but he followed Liang Han's footstep to shoot at the opponent's keeper instead of the net and those are the sideline cannot help but begin to think that he is restarting his drought thing again.
Another good move with Liang Han backflipping the ball to Gary who was free and as the 2 opponent's defenders were sticking to Liang Han, Mr Sng was totally free, but Gary made a strange decision to pass the ball back to Liang Han who were still marked by the same 2 defenders, instead of Mr Sng who would had tons of times on his feet to see which spot of the goal post he want to score. Of course, this event did not happen at all.
During closing minutes, a loose ball fell to Ken Wong who instead of trying to take a shot at goal made a weird awkward pass and the ball fell to no players' land.
We had our 3rd draw when the final whistle was blown.

Hairy, you left out the part where Mr I gave a defence splitting 'no-look' pass to Han. It has been said that only the likes of the great can do this. Not sure if it's true but this is what people tell me.
